[mythtv-users] mythweb and packaging

Hi Chris,

In a update for the 0.19 plugin packages for Christian Marillat's 
http://www.debian-multimedia.org/ I put in a patch for mythweb to disable the 
is_writable check for data and data/tv_icons.  In 0.20 Christian has taken 
out this patch.

Does mythweb really need to write to data and data/tv_icons or can these 
checks be removed?
