[mythtv-users] Changing window focus with a remote

Hi,

I have MythTv 0.19 (FE + BE) installed on a Ubuntu Dapper box and 
everything works well, except that I'd like to set up a button on the 
remote that sets the window manager focus to the frontend.

The reason is that I have other (non-Myth) apps on the box that 
sometimes steal focus (generally when there is an error event).

One way to do this might be to generate an ALT-TAB X event - but I have 
searched the web on how to do this to no avail...

Does anyone have any ideas?
