I have nvidia specified in my xorg.conf for sure.  But no direct  
rendering.  I wonder why?  The only ref I see in my xorg to DRI is this:
Section "DRI"
         Group        0
         Mode         0666

What else can I check.  I am new to the DRI stuff, so thanks for the help!
