the best option. So, I compiled, installed and configured. Not only
did the N800 see the media, I was able to play music and watch pictures.
The N800 would not play any of my records (all in MPEG2). It seems
there are constraints on playing MPEG.
Transcoding
770-encode.pl, using this script I was able to transcode the recordings
into an AVI playable by the n800's default media player!
I modified pdatrancode calling it 770-wrapper.sh and recreated a user
job to transcode my recordings!
I'm using -fixes. I did try gmediaserver, however I could not see any
media it was offering.
