[mythtv-users] how to set autotrans on by default?

Thanks for your fast reply!  In recording profiles / mpeg2 encoders I have
"Default", "LiveTV", "High Quality", and "Low Quality".  For all of those
except Live TV, I have "enable auto-transcode after recording" checked.  I
also stopped and restarted the FE and BE to be sure the above settings were
recorded.  However, when I schedule a new recording (looks like either a
movie or a show now?), the recording schedule still says "do not transcode
new recordings" by default.  I know if I manually turn that on it'll
autotranscode, but I'd like the schedule to come up with transcoding already
turned on...

Are these the settings you meant?  Is there anything else I should check?
