Here's my profile settings, which I think are the defaults (at least
for Knoppmyth). All my schedules are set to record using the Default
profile and then transcode (which I think uses the autodetect from
RTjpeg/MPEG4).

Recording profiles (software v4l):
Default: 480x480, RTjpeg @ quality 170, MP3 sound sampling rate 32000
@ quality 7
Live TV: 480x480, RTjpeg @ quality 170, MP3 sound sampling rate 32000
@ quality 7

Transcoders:
Autodetect from RTjpeg/MPEG4: 480x480 RTjpeg @ 170, MP3 32000 @ 7
All other profiles are exactly the same, which I believe are the
Knoppmyth defaults.

Do I even need to be transcoding?
