So your recordings directory is /root/video/recordings/? Has it
occurred to you that apache can't read anything in /root/?
Most people tend to put their recordings directory somewhere in a shared
location (/var/video, /mnt/datadrive/video, etc.) so access can be
granted to other users on the system without compromising a home
directory's security.
Also, to mythweb, the recordings directory is data/recordings (in your
case, that would be /var/www/html/mythweb/data/recordings), which is a
symlink to the local recordings directory. That is, until I can get
proper "from the backend" streaming to the download handler hooked up in
.21 or .22.
