[mythtv-users] escape on remote not working

Using a Nove T remote.

irreccorded the escape and power key ok.

In my lircrc most of the keys work and I have this;

begin
    prog = mythtv
    button = Power
    config = Esc
end

But it does not seem to work.

Any clues?
