The roundtrip has to be extremely asymmetric for ntpd not to be able  
to keep up.   Unless it's saturated then a typical DSL connection  
doesn't make any difference worth mentioning, for instance.  However,  
if it is saturated then it can indeed end up looking pretty bad.  :-)


   - ask (who is likely responsible for picking your ntp servers :-) )
