[mythtv-users] Ripping DVD's on a remote frontend

This seems like it should be rather simple but I've hit a dead end. I have
three remote frontends and a dedicated backend. When I try to rip a dvd on a
frontend it tells me that it can't connect to the Myth Transcoding Daemon.
When I try to start 'mtd' on one of the frontends it complains about being
unable to connect to the MySQL server (output below). mtd seems to start and
run correctly on the backend. How is this supposed to be configured? I
can't seem to find anything in the docs or mailing lists that addresses this
problem. This is all running on Fedora Core using the atrpms if it matters.

Thanks,

Glenn
