Ok, did the "tv_grab_na_dd --dd-data datadirect.xml --days 0 >
xmltv.xml" like you suggested, and got some possibly interesting results....

First, the xmltv.xml file was empty.
The datadirect.xml had tons of stuff in it. When I ran the utility, it
asked me at one point which of the two lineups I had in Datadirect I
wanted to download; I selected the 4DTV satellite lineup. Looking
through the datadirect.xml file, near the beginning of it, I found a
large number of <station> blocks (don't know the proper XML term) with
all the satellite channels in them. These match up with what I've
selected on Zap2it for the 4DTV lineup. Following the <station> block,
there's a corresponding set of <map station> lines in a <lineup> block.
Again, these match up exactly with the 4DTV lineup from Zap2it. I
checked the station id's and channel id's, and they are unique.

After the 4DTV lineup, the antenna lineup was also present in another
<lineup> block, and this too matched exactly what I have on Zap2it. So
at this point in the file, both lineups appear to be correct. There is a
difference in the <map station> line format between the two lineups. The
4DTV lines have three parameters: station, channel, and from; the
antenna lineup only has two: station and channel.

The rest of the datadirect.xml file appears to contain detailed data for
the EPG on each show for each channel.

This pretty much matches up with my running mythtv-setup and
mythfilldatabase with "-v all": there appeared to be a section in that
output that had INSERTS for all the satellite channels. It seems that in
both cases the utilities did see all the satellite channels from the
lineup, and these channels had unique station ids.

And yet, mythfilldatabase effectively ignores 90% of the satellites, and
XMLTV produces an empty xmltv.xml file. I seem to be no closer to
getting all the channels into Myth....
