I wrote about this a while ago but only got one response which,
unfortunately, didn't help. When I am in the "Recorded Programs" menu,
every button press on my remote gets repeated. I am using a newer
hauppauge gray remote. I have tried using two different remote
receivers with different lirc drivers (one is serial, one is usb). I
have tried lircd.conf files that I created myself (with both raw and RC5
codes) and lircd.conf files from myth and from lirc. In my lircrc file,
I have tried setting repeat to zero (ignore repeated button presses) and
anything else up to ten. I have also tried putting in a "delay" option.
In other menus, everything is fine. I can tell by the behavior that it
is honoring the delay and repeat options. But in the "Recorded
Programs" menu, it appears to be ignoring these options. I tried
looking through the source code a bit to see if I could find where myth
knows what to read from the lircrc file, but I can't find anything. Any
help would be greatly appreciated. As it is, it is very difficult to
select the show I want to watch.
Thanks,
Joel
