[mythtv-users] 1080i HD without XvMC, how much horsepower?

Last time I tried it, I had *higher* CPU usage with XvMC than without it.
There's a thread from a couple weeks or so ago ("perennial problems with XvMC")
that I still need to go through to see what (if anything) I'm doing wrong.
