I was running an AMD 64 3200+ with an nvidia 6600 pci-e card and
linear de-interlacing at 1920x1080 resolution without a problem.
Kernel deinterlacing was a little problematic, but not terrible. I
upgraded to an AMD 64 X2 4400+ (not running smp kernel right now due
to a dvb issue I'm having) and it handles kernel deinterlacing
without a problem.
This is all FC4, SATA II drive for video, 1.5GB RAM, ATrpms
