Look at the FAQ in the MythTV wiki & search the MythTV mailing lists.
Is it possible that you may have compiled Xorg with optimization
flags other than "-O2" ? If portage doesn't protect against this,
this symptom is a known problem with several versions of Xorg when
you compile with "-Os".
