[mythtv-users] can new transcoder profiles be created?

I'd like to create a transcoder profile for MPEG2 to MPEG2 just for 
commercial removal.
I believe it's not possible to actually create a new one and leave the 
originals intact, although I can't find specific references to this.

Can someone confirm this?
I believe the options are to modify one of the existing 
High/Low/Medium/Autodetect profiles, to do lossless transcoding.
That profile could be renamed to reflect its purpose as well.
