[mythtv-users] Memory usage while recording

Hi,

Today I noticed that while my machine is memory is pegged.  I have 1.2 
GB of memory in my backend machine.  Top reports that the allocated 
memory is high (usually 99%-100%) but does not report the process that 
is taking up the memory as there is only a few processes using much 
memory and the total usage reported per process is only about 50%.

Anyone know what might be hogging the memory?  And why doesn't report 
the memory usage?
