[mythtv-users] xbmc and mythtv

Hello,

I would to thank you all for the work you provide to mythtv !

I maybe out of topic but I think some people may have encountered same
problems as me : I have installed xbmx on my xbox and of course, I
would like to be able to play my recordings.
Here are my questions :

- is xbmc able to communicate with the backend through upnp ? I tried
to go in the upnp menu and activated it but the upnp playlist in xbmc
remains empty. If I sniff my network, mythbackend is broadcasting on
239.255.255.250:1900 but my ip backend is 192.168.1.2 and my broadcast
should be 192.168.1.255. What's wrong ?
- samba is the only to share recordings ?
- xbmc doesn't seems to be able to play nuv files. How can I handle this ?
- how do you name your files ? I have almost 80 recordings in one
folder : it isn't easy to find a recording through all. The
mythfrontend gui for recordings is great !
