We have a different Sharp Aquos at work that I was playing with
(sorry, not sure of the model).  I was unable to drive it at its
native resolution (1366x768).  It could handle 720p content, which
it would rescan for display.

Obviously, 1080i content looked awful.

I didn't spend a ton of time on it, but I would just make sure you
can drive it at the native resolution, then you only have to resize
once and it should look pretty good.
