[mythtv-users] Distro for MythTV, FC6 is killing me

I have setup 6 MythTV boxes using FC5 by following the Hacking MythTV
book (which has large parts taken from Jarod Wilson's guide and the Myth
Wiki). I have not had to recompile the kernel from source even once
(although I did need to download the kernel source to be able to get the
dvb-firmware scripts so I can use my ATI HDTV Wonder and AverMedia A180
cards).

I guess it just gets easier the more boxes you build. But even on the
first install, it was very straightforward using yum and the atrpms and
freshrpms repos for everything (including the nvidia drivers).

FWIW I have MediaMVP 0.3.1 running with FC3/Myth 0.18 just fine - it
works so I am thinking long and hard before migrating to FC 6 and 0.20.
