I'm trying out mythtv on Ubuntu Edgy on a Dell laptop with a ATI Radeon
Mobility 9000. It works on 720P captures, but I just get a blue screen
with sound on 1080i's.

vlc/xine/mplayer also have trouble at 1080i, but they show about 2/3 of
the picture with a pink bar where the right third should be.

As far as X goes, the log shows

X Window System Version 7.1.1
ATI: ATI driver (version 6.6.2) for chipsets: ati, ativga
R128: Driver for ATI Rage 128 chipsets:
RADEON: Driver for ATI Radeon chipsets: ATI Radeon QD (AGP)
Module radeon: vendor="X.Org Foundation"
         compiled for 7.1.1, module version = 4.2.0
         Module class: X.Org Video Driver
ABI class: X.Org Video Driver, version 1.0

The Bios shows 32MB of video memory and xvinfo shows 2048x2048.

Any ideas?
