Nonsense. I have both a tivo and a mythtv box. I have many hours of recordings
on the tivo and yet I still channel surf. Why? Because sometimes I only have a
few minutes to kill, and I just want to see what's on now. And sometimes I
just don't feel like watching any of the things I've recorded, and so again
I just want to see what's on. I strongly believe that the main reason that
'experienced users' don't channel surf with mythtv is because it is so damn
slow.
