It's really unfortunate that different and incompatible interfaces  
have such similar names, and I am not at all sure it is not intentional.

It reminds me of the "extended" vs. "expanded" memory systems many  
years ago.

Then there is a product with a large label proclaiming "DVD-COPY". Of  
course one thing that product will *not* do is copy a DVD, I wonder  
how many folks have been duped into buying that one ?

It's marketing, nothing else.

But I think the card in question is in fact a PCI card, based on the  
picture on the box and the price, if not much else :-) I would of  
course be happy to be proved wrong on this.
