As I mentioned in a previous mail. What Chris described is NOT how tivo
works, and in fact you can start recording a little late and still get the
part that you just watched (though tivo's buffer is limited to 30 minutes,
so if you decide after 45 minutes that you really want to record the show,
the saved recording will be missing the first 15 minutes).
