The only suggestion I can offer is buy a Extended Service Plan.
I NEVER, EVER buy an ESP... but in this case, I will and you should.
My 32" LCD TV ( No extended Service plan ) went out after 6 months.
I had to box it up and send it in for service. It came back, powered
on and broke right away... I had to box it up again and send it
back. Never has so much trouble in my life.... for HDTV.. get a ESP.
The shipping alone cost about as much as an ESP.  I could have
just taken it to the store and got a replacement out of stock.
