[mythtv-users] Video card recommendations?

I did a yum install kernel and it appears that kernel has two nvidia drivers
install the 8776 and the newer 9629, is there a way remove the older one?

Try editing your /etc/X11/xorg.conf -- look for the 'Module' section
and comment out Load "glx".

That should at least let you start your X server using the nvidia
driver (though without Open GL support).

If you can get X running with the nvidia driver, then it shouldn't be
too hard to figure out what's wrong with glx.
