Hi,
I actually ran dselect after adding the debian-multimedia to my
sources.list
I read that the ivtv drivers are actually supported part of the sid
unstable release and figured?? they should just work??
After retrieving all the myth and ivtv packages, i ran compile (or
something), I don't quite remember as I did this Friday night and it
compiled for what seemed like 20 or so minutes.
After which I saw all the files located in my home directory. I am
running 2.6.18-2.
I wanted to see if mythtv user was there and it does show up.
I just don't know how to get any further and am hoping
that:
Start the backend: nohup mythbackend &
Start the frontend: mythfrontend
will get me going.
Thanks!!!
