Hmmm....I am using Fedora 5 which is all RPMs so I am not sure how
useful my info would be to you however, here is the link:

I followed the instructions to the "T" and everything worked however, I
pulled my hair out for the longest time with another transmitter and
various lirc.conf files before I finally got it working.
