[mythtv-users] Problems with playback and XvMC-VLD

I think I have an idea what the clue is:

I'm using a VIA Epia board and the XvMC-VLD extension for decoding, I set the
video memory in the BIOS to 32M, but this ssems to be not enought for 704x576
MPEG2 from DVB-T I get messages like this:

X Error: BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation) 11

When I increase the video memory in BIOS to 64M, it works and I don#t get
these messages again.

Is it really necessary to consume so much memory just for a 1280x768 screen
and normal MPEG2 from DVB-T?

May it help to reduce the colour depth in the X11 config?

Any ideas?
