OK I have figured out that the xinetd is different from inetd, thus
everything is hosed. Does anyone know how to get mediamvp working with
xinetd and not being the DHCP server?

Thanks

Another question, in the directions it says to configure the dhcp.conf with:

host MVP1 {
hardware ethernet xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx;
fixed-address 192.168.0.10 <http://192.168.0.10>;
filename "dongle.bin.mvpmc";
}

However I have a server on my network doing the DHCP, so how do I configure
the dongle file name?

Thanks again

I am trying to setup my MediaMVP box as a front end for mythtv 0.20 on a FC6
box.  I found some directions:

http://knoppmythwiki.org/index.php?page=MediaMVP_LinuxHOWTO

http://www.mythtv.org/pipermail/mythtv-users/2005-September/101417.html

However they both show that I am sharing /myth/tv and /myth which I do not
have, and I can not figure out what is suppose to be in these directories.
My backend is configured to store all video in the /video directory is this
the same as the /myth directory? But my /video does not have a /tv
directory. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Trampas
