Read what it says:  PHP Notice

ie. not an error.  just a notice.  I apologize if PHP is overly verbose
by default, but it's a hassle to check if an array key exists before I
check if it's set (since if it's set, I know it exists -- I blame perl
for my laziness).

However, I'm so sick of people misreading these as errors that it'll be
gone in the next release.
