[mythtv-users] Transcoding for Palm handheld?

I'm interested in setting up transcoding jobs (on my current  
standalone 0.18 and my next-gen frontend/backend 0.20 systems) which  
will take a particular program and transcode a version for my Palm  
Tungsten T3 nightly.

I should be able to use ffmpeg to get the file into the appropriate  
codec and aspect ratio, but am not sure how to go about setting up  
the job. The documentation on the mythtv.org site seems to indicate  
that the backend jobs are primarily for full-res commercial removal  
and MPEG-2 to MPEG-4 for space savings.

Any thoughts or pointers to better how-tos on this?
