Shouldn't be a problem in theory if you didn't have a board infected
with via chipsets and want to run a PVR-500. It should work if you had
your motherboard and 4 150's, 250's or 350's (and any combination of
that) I run a 350, 500 and HD-3000. All 4 tuners can be going without
problems on a standard ATA100 7200 drive. Your KT400 motherboard will
likely either start randomly rebooting on your or just lock up from time
to time. The misconception I've noticed from all the boards I've tested
with 500's (around 10 with via now, more if you count the ones that
worked) is it isn't the northbridge that causes the problem. Its the
southbridge. I've never seen a motherboard with a via686a or b ever work
with a 500 in it and not have problems when its in use. Windows or
Linux, any pvr-500 card you stick in it.
