Well the moto 6400 IS a pvr.  It's just a crappy one.

Anyhow, it's hardly within the cable company's perogative to
distribute unrestricted digital copies of Hollywood's precious HD
content.   If it were up to Comcast, you probably would be able to
record that stuff.
