There's only a "both" if you are using the PVR-350's decoder.  In the 
case that you are, you could actually activate Myth's decoding and the 
TV's decoding at the same time.

Exactly.  But Myth's built-in decoder works whether you're using a 
PVR-350 or not.  Granted, I've never done this, but some guy named 
"Isaac Richards" told me I was wrong when I said you had to use the TV's 
decoder with the PVR-350 after reading some posts--all relying on 
information from one of your posts--that said so.  ;)  See
