[mythtv-users] Non-transcoded DVD rip with menu?

You can use Myth to rip the DVD to an iso file, but it gets put in some
default location and named "unknown.iso" or something like that, so you
would at some point need to ssh in to rename the file. Also, I don't
know what method Myth uses to rip DVDs to iso files, but it didn't work
for me as well as the dvdbackup/mkisofs combo. I ran several through
Myth that ended up with unusable/non-working menus.
