Did you buy it at Fry's though? I made the mistake of buying one at Fry's
first (also with rebate, which I never got), which turned out to be too
loud. Then I ordered the fanless one from newegg.

BTW, you can see SF Bay Area Fry's ads online every day at
http://newspaperads.mercurynews.com
Saves you a trip to Fry's to see what's on sale if you don't get the
newspaper. (I don't know if these same ads also apply to Fry's in
other parts of the country though)
