hmm ran myfilldatabase again. here is what I now have for one example
channel. (max-hd)
Modified one that records in myth but missing listing info:
5753 753 519000000 1 MAXHD CineMAX High Definition
0 34933 2 32768 32768 32768 32768 atsc 1
1 0 7 3 192768 0
One that mythfill recreates that has actual listing information but
won't record with:
5001 753 753 5 MAXHD CineMAX High Definition 0
34933 0 32768 32768 32768 32768 Default 0
0 0 32767 0 192768 0
When I try to record a show from said listings, nothing happens. I tried
making the new channels invisible, but that didn't help either as now
there is no listing information for the modified channels that work. I
would of assumed if the xmltv id's are the same it would use the same
listing information. xmltvid's for this station is 34933. Grr this is
annoying. I guess I could try to get EIT info directly, but the problem
with that is I wont be able to schedule things from very far out. It
doesn't appear myth will use the source 1 if source 5 or 6 isn't defined
to anything. Any ideas on a workaround or am I SOL on this?
one other idea, is it possible for me to make another cardinput using
the same card but a different source directly from the database. Kinda
like a quick n dirty hack.
cardinputid Cardid Sourceid Inputname
5 4 1 DVBInput 2 N 761 0 0
11700000 10600000 9750000 QAM 0 0 0 0
add a new one as
5 4 5 DVBInput etc etc
