OK That would explain it.  I'm not running SVN at all, just fixes.

I'd assumed that SVN would only be required for playback (I was
intending to see if I could capture anything before I worried about
playing it back), but it seems that's not the case.

I've obviously got a bit more work than I thought before I have to
start saving for that HDTV!

Just to check.  What dvb-t card are you using?
