I'm sorry, I may not be explaining myself clearly!

When recording a program, without activating the 'transcode' job using Mythfrontend, this is what you would see when running nuvexport:

You have recorded the following episodes of 501 (BBC ONE):

  1. Fri May 5 15:40:00 2006 (5/5, 3:40 PM) 720x576 MPEG2 (16:9)
     No Description

>>>>>>>>>>> which becomes:
You have recorded the following episodes of 501 (BBC ONE):

  1. Fri May 5 15:40:00 2006 (5/5, 3:40 PM) 720x576 RJPG (4:3)
     No Description

After running any 'transcode' jobs from the frontend. I know I can set the aspect ratio manually, but if the file was originally (16:9) I was wondering why doesn't it keep the aspect ratio! It's not a big deal, i have already learned to live with it.

My system:

Fedora Core 4 on Athlon 1800 XP Nvidia GeForce3 motherboard.
[mythtv at 192 ~]$ uname -r2.6.16-1.2096_FC4

[mythtv at 192 ~]$ rpm -q mythtvmythtv-0.19-128.rhfc4.at

(updated today)

I have a Phillips Nova-t, recording UK DVB-T as .mpg files (I do not usually transcode the files to .nuv). The majority of these .mpg's play back on my XPSP2 Windows machine and my mac so I leave them as mpgs. I really only want to use nuvexport to archive some older shows with no adverts so I can watch them later and just keep transient shows on my Mythbox.
