[mythtv-users] Firewire recordings playback chopped off

I just got a DCT6200 hooked up, and have started recording stuff on it.
Works slick. I'm seeing strange behavior with some HD channels though.
I have the GUI set to 800x450 (my projector is 800x600) and the playback
set to use the GUI size. Some channels are cut off on the right hand
side, and when I hit "i" or something else that brings up an OSD that
usually stretches across the screen, the right side of the OSD is also
cut off. Other channels seem to be working properly however.
I figured I'd do some digging on my laptop to see what the differences
are. Playing them back in Totem-Xine they have a pink bar on the right
hand side of the screen. Playing back in mplayer works properly though
- the whole picture is there, so there's just something wrong with the
playback under myth (and apparently totem-xine)
System vitals - AMD64, Gentoo (64 bit) Nvidia FX5200 video card, using
nvidia driver 8178 (8576 didn't work very well at all)
Any thoughts as to what I can do to fix the playback for those channels?
I can supply whatever information people want (including maybe
posting a short recording from a "good" channel and a "bad" channel if
that'll help)
