If you're using PVR capture hardware, you may have a problem with  
kernel version vs. IVTV version. FC3 is a little dated, and things  
have changed with the IVTV drivers.

What kernel version and IVTV version are you using, if you're using  
IVTV ?

You might also give some consideration to upgrading to FC4, from what  
I've seen on this list more folks running 0.19 are using that.
