I'm running 4 150s, and I am quite satisfied with the quality of all  
of them. They are not perfect, and perhaps not even "broadcast  
quality", but quite good enough for everyday viewing. Better, for  
example, than VHS tape quality by a long shot.

"Grainy" sounds like you have a low RF signal level going into the  
cards, and without sufficient signal all bets are off.

Look into how many splits you have in your feed, look at former  
postings about amplifiers  etc. Try hooking a TV set up to the exact  
same connector that is feeding your card(s) and see what it looks like.
