[mythtv-users] PVR-250 Error, no inputs

I've got MythTV 0.17 set up on FBSD6.1 and it does everything ... but work.

I can connect to the database, I can edit channels, I can schedule recordings, 
and probably do much more stuff that I don't even know.

But I can't watch TV and I can't playback a recording.

To be clear, I can *schedule* a recording, but it won't actually *record* 
anyting.  Instead X crashes.

I'm using the PVR250.  When I type:

cat /dev/cxm0>filename.mpg

a proper .mpeg file is created, with sound.

Here's what happens when I start mythbackend -d -l /var/log/mythtv.log

And when I run mythsetup, Capture Cards, Select MPEG-2 Encoder 
(PVR250,PVR350), I get "Error, No Inputs Found" on the "Default Input" 
section.

Then when I run mythfrontend and select "Watch TV", X Crashes with

Also, if I have to reboot, I have to reinstall qt-mysql-plugin or I get 
"QSqlDatabase: QMYSQL3 driver not loaded."

I can deal with having to reinstall qt-mysql-plugin, for now, but I'm stumped 
by the "No Inputs Found" message.  Is this an error?

I can connect to localhost 6543 using telnet, so I'm pretty sure Myth is 
monitoring that.  Also, /mnt/store/ is a valid path to which the Myth user 
has read/write access, but I can't locate a file on my system with the .nuv 
extension, so I don't believe it is ever created.

If any of this seems familiar then please let me know if/what I'm doing wrong.
