You need the ppm patch then. This is the exact error that I was having and what
ultimately motivated me to make the ebuild. Can you upgrade your mjpegtools to
1.8.0-r1? If I get time I will try to fix the ebuild for the older mjpegtools. You
may want to do an quickpkg mjpegtools before the emerge so if anything goes wrong an
emerge -K mjpegtools will give you the old version back with no compiling...
