Is it possible that at time of crash, you have a scheduled recording is
coming up and trying to take over the capture card?  I'm having this
problem, at least on my pcHDTV-3000.  When I'm watching livetv on it and a
scheduled recording comes up, the frontend just crashes and the backend just
hangs--no recordings.
