Hey Guys,

I have managed to break my Myth install some how.

I added a new hard drive to my mythbackend, mounted it on /mnt/sda created a
recordings directory, then moved the contents of my existing
/mnt/myth/recordings (a local directory on the primary hard disk) instead of
changing the directory in mythtv-setup I just deleted /mnt/myth/recordings
and symlinked /mnt/myth/recordings to /mnt/sda/recordings.

Then tried live tv. No ball. There was no write access. I'd forgotten
permissions so I chown'd the directory to chown mythtv:mythtv -R
/mnt/sda/recordings .

So now when I fire up mythfrontend from the command line, and try live tv I
get this:

2006-03-19 19:01:57.732 Using protocol version 26
2006-03-19 19:01:57.770 TV: Attempting to change from None to WatchingLiveTV
2006-03-19 19:01:57.780 Using protocol version 26
2006-03-19 19:01:57.840 GetEntryAt(-1) failed.
2006-03-19 19:01:57.840 EntryToProgram(0 at Thu Jan 1 01:00:00 1970) failed to
get pginfo
2006-03-19 19:01:57.841 TV Error: LiveTV not successfully started
2006-03-19 19:01:57.842 TV Error: LiveTV not successfully started
2006-03-19 19:01:57.859 TV: Deleting TV Chain in destructor
Destroying SipFsm object

Changing everything back to its original directory structure doesn't help.

Playing back recordings continued to work.

Any idea what I've messed up? If it helps any, I restarted a few times
getting the bios to boot the drives in the right order, could it be a
date/time problem?

Thanks for any feedback!

Steve
