[mythtv-users] alsa-1.0.11 won't load

Downloaded the source for alsa-1.0.11 both driver and lib.  Ran
configure/make/make install for both.  Ran depmod -a.  Rebooted.

# cat /proc/asound/version
Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.10.
Compiled on Mar  2 2006 for kernel 2.6.15-1.1833_FC4

Am I missing a step to getting 1.0.11 working?
