You have 2 choices - run mythtv-setup as root or change the ownership on
/dev/dvb* (chown -R user.group /dev/dvb*).  I ran into the same problem,
but since I am running mythbackend as root, which you would always want
to do to get your recordings done with realtime scheduling, I ran
mythtv-setup as root as well.
