Thanks Brian,  but the mythfrontend binaries on "thesniderpad" are
PowerPC versions.  So, your MacBook is running them in Rosetta /
PowerPC emulation mode.  Your system may be fast enough to do SD video
that way, but I don't think it could do HD.    We're trying to compile
mythfrontend in a native Intel format, so it can use the full power of
these new systems.  With a native frontend, the core duo systems
should be able to easily handle HD video.
